Files you upload

Files you upload are transferred securely to our servers for processing and are automatically and permanently deleted within one hour of upload, whether or not you download the result. We do not review, share, sell, or use the contents of your files for any purpose other than performing the conversion or edit you requested.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location, for security, analytics, and abuse-prevention purposes.

Cookies and advertising

FileTools.io is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Data retention

Uploaded and processed files are deleted within one hour. Technical server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymized.

FileTools.io is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
